Eryn was pepping peppers for breakfast burritos yesterday to reduce food waste. By cutting the top off just about even with the stem produces much more usable pepper (on left), and very little to go in the compost bin (in the bowl). We're going to plant the seed pods to germinate some new plants for next year's garden.

It's the last day of and we've got light, healthy food like wraps, salads, and sandwiches made fresh to order in our kitchen until 9pm. We've got snacks and bottled water for $1, lots of shaded seating available, and yard games galore!

Celebrating the close of another successful season for the .brighton ski patrol with a toga party! We served stuffed grape leaves, Greek kalamata olives, feta stuffed green olives, beets, hummus and mini pitas, grapes, and a colorful veggie tray for an appetizer bar.

Prices start at $15 for 12 regular sized filled eggs or 6 jumbo filled eggs.

Hungry and want/need a snack? C'mon down to the kitchen. It's cheaper than 7-11 and you can even order ahead with no delivery fee! We also have an assortment of cereal, soda pop, Gatorade, juice, and water available.

Want something a little more substantial? We've got the stuff to make bacon breakfast burritos, pancakes or waffles, grilled cheese, tomato soup, and more every day.

This is Compy, the newest member of our kitchen team. Their job is to collect produce scraps, egg shells, dead leaves, and the occasional bone throughout the week until they're full and then get emptied into the tumbling composter outside. When we're ready to plant our garden in the spring, our seedlings will have a nice layer of homemade compost nourishing and protecting them.
