Join us this evening, Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 PM for an insightful conversation with children's book author Christina L. Carpenter.

Christina will share how she embarked on her journey as an author. In addition to writing, Christina is a business owner, film producer, and actress. She has authored two delightful books: "Theodore and Otis Find Their Forever Home" and "The Adventures of Theodore and Otis: Paw Prints Under the Sea."

During our discussion, Christina will provide insights into her creative process and the inspiration behind her work. Her first book is dedicated to her late father, Edwin Diaz, who, along with his wife Olga, was a faithful attendee at Morningside Church.

We are excited to support Christina in her efforts to shape young minds and impact the next generation. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing this inspiring evening together.

We are sad to announce the passing of Fran Lerman. Fran was always a joy to be around, with a genuine love for people. She made friends easily and was an integral part of our welcoming team. Fran also actively participated in our discipleship and fellowship groups. Her family has chosen to hold a quiet, private service in her memory. During this time, our love and prayers are with her daughters, her sister Rose Hibner, and the rest of her family.
