“Gerad is worth his weight in gold. Well, he’s a small guy, so maybe even MORE!! I think his core strength is as a logistician. He could mobilize an army in a foreign land, I’m sure, and done it with a smile on his face. So, executing my daughter’s non-cookie cutter wedding with grace and always a smile, was a breeze for him.⁣

* Gerad was always available to answer questions; never made us feel as though we were imposing.⁣
⁣
* He had vendor suggestions and recommendations, but we did all the initial vendor meetings and selections because we wanted to.⁣
⁣
* Gerad managed all the vendor communications once selected, and especially in the last weeks leading up to the event.⁣
⁣
* He created and managed the “day of” timeline line a military general (but with a smile...) When a small thing didn’t happen exactly according to how we’d imagined in our minds, he let us know it was OK, this is normal, and not to worry, which was very calming.⁣

Hollie and Karthic didn’t let the rain stop their wedding day! 🌦️ They had a gorgeous celebration at - the venue’s 5th wedding since opening their lodge space in 2023.⁣
⁣
Rain plan or not, their ceremony was always planned to be in front of the venues living wall - a unique architectural feature which left me speechless the first time I saw it. 🌱🪴🌿 (That’s a lie, I think I gasped WOW!!! when I first saw it in person 😂) Fun fact: the living wall includes over 2,000 plants!!! ⁣

We had a rain plan tent in place for cocktail hour which guests utilized as we got the lodge ready for reception. Post flip, guests re-entered the lodge, now transformed and GLOWING with candlelight 🤩 My phone photos do not do the space justice. ⁣

“It was wonderful working with Gerad! He helped me plan and pull off a magical wedding in 37 days! We instantly hit it off and Gerad quickly became a good friend! He made my day so special and beautiful. I will never forget my wedding day! His vendors that he connected with us worked very hard to bring the day together and took the time to get to know me and my husband! I owe everything to Gerad and my mom! Gerad was my fairy godfather that day! 10 out of 10! I would highly recommend him for any events you have because he will blow your expectations out of the water no matter how big or how small! “I needed to throw a wedding in 37 days!! Gerad to the rescue!!! He thought of every little detail, juggled all of the moving parts, and made my daughter’s dream a reality. He made sure to have a contingency plan for Austin’s unpredictable weather which was asking a lot of him considering we picked an outdoor venue.⁣ Gerad made it all happen, giving us the opportunity to enjoy the wedding stress free. He took care of everything, even blocking out the sun during pictures.⁣⁣ We couldn’t ask for anything more. Gerad is definitely the first person I am calling for all my future events.”⁣⁣⁣

THIRTY-SEVEN DAYS⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Over the last thirty-seven days, Alicia (bride), Shannon (her mom), and I built a magical wedding, essentially from the ground up. 💪⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
(I tried to long story short this, but failed. 😹) ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Originally, the plan for Alicia’s wedding was to have a low-key ceremony surrounded by close family and a few friends. They had booked a 2 hour rental at but weren’t sure what to do about dinner afterwards. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
As the date got closer, their excitement and vision for the wedding grew exponentially! They decided that Alicia’s wedding should be a luxurious celebration the entire family could cherish forever. But where to start… 🤔 ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Shannon took the planning reins over for her daughter and reached out to me right before New Year’s. We hit it off instantly. By the end of our first phone call, before Shannon had even retained my services, we had the entire wedding mapped out. (Reception ideas, the hiring of ~12 different vendors, a rough timeline, etc.) To say we hit the ground running is an understatement. Fast forward thirty-seven days later, yesterday was one for the books. 🥰⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

We loved working with Gerad from the moment we met him. He was a swiss army knife from start to finish. ⁣

He just has that magic touch: the right amount of being going deep with you when it matters and that ability to steer you clear of a mistake or going too far down a rabbit hole. ⁣
⁣
We selected a month-of coordination services package that included a few advanced planning meetings. Frankly, Gerad was involved from day 1 all the way through to our wedding day--well beyond the scope of duty. ⁣
⁣
Prior to the month of our wedding, he made himself available for wisdom and institutional knowledge via email. He was open to answer any question, even before his “month of” duties started. This availability helped us make smart decisions and helped reduce his work during the month of the wedding when he took over. Everybody won.⁣
⁣
The month of our wedding arrived, and Gerad transitioned from trusted advisor and collaborator to director and orchestrator. We began texting, and he really stepped in- we knew he had it all under control.⁣

⁣
At our ceremony rehearsal, Gerad had the perfect command of the crowd. His sharp wit, ability to get people to focus, and mastery of highlighting the important parts of the ceremony really assisted.⁣
⁣
Finally, on the day of our wedding he was a master. Armed with a satchel of wedding day emergency items-- you could count on him to get people to the right places, orchestrate every one of the vendors, re-hang a light or fan, lay out flowers and decor, shift a cake table, field a tent emergency, place things in the right rooms, or herd family members. He was always in the right place at the right time.⁣

Oh count the many ways Gerad was awesome. Beyond this all he really made us feel so special on our day. He was our best hire. You won't be disappointed!”⁣

“I cannot recommend Gerad enough!! He took so much of the stress out of wedding planning and made sure everything ran smoothly. He gave great recommendations on vendors and helped with all of the coordination. On the wedding day itself, his help really allowed me and my husband to be present during the wedding and enjoy our day without having to worry about everything else. He went above and beyond and truly made the wedding better than I could have imagined!”⁣

Working with Sophia and Truman was an absolute joy. Their wedding had so many fun elements - my favorites include: the horses on property, their glitter fan DIY craft table and the ever so tempting strawberry lavender donuts. ⁣⁣⁣

I am thrilled (yet still in disbelief) that it didn’t rain on us - there was literal flooding when I woke up! I spent the morning constantly checking the radar / hourly chance of rain predictions and never once did I see even a glimmer of hope. And yet somehow, someway, Texas decided to Texas in the best way possible and we had sunshine on their special day. ☀️ We kept the reception tables covered out of precaution but were able to hold ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing outside. Having a flexible rain plan is/was/continues to be a huge non-negotiable priority for the safety and comfort of everyone at the event. ⁣⁣⁣

🖤 I am honored and so happy to have been part of Madison & Dan’s wedding this weekend 🥰 As a venue that is so near and dear to my heart I can honestly say I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the mezzanine dance floor more packed! 💃 I think that really goes to show just how celebrated and loved these two are. Congrats you two!!!

Stephanie and Mark celebrated their marriage this weekend surrounded by friends, family and loved ones. I am so thankful they had a gorgeous rain-free wedding day despite the forecast calling for scattered thunderstorms. (I was glued to the radar all day 😅🤞🙏) Weather worries aside, I’m so proud of all the hard work my team put in to ensure their big day went smoothly. What a fun, fabulous and intimate celebration! On Sunday I had the honor of sending Brett and Tami down the aisle and I don’t think any of us could have planned for a more perfect day. Their ceremony was filled with family heirlooms alongside a custom designed chuppah to fit the tallit - it doesn’t get more personal than that! While I don’t typically try to crash the dance floor, I’ll never forget being summoned to join the bride as we rocked out to Taylor Swift’s Paper Rings 🎵💃💍⁣⁣

Mazel tov to the happy couple! 🥳 I can’t wait to see you two in just a few weeks when we get to celebrate Alli & Robert’s 10 year anniversary. ⁣⁣

[ PRO-TIP (Texas Edition): Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s weddings opted for a rain plan tent share. Within those 3 days, it poured/stormed Friday night ☔️, was a little chilly Saturday night ❄️ and our day was toasty and sunny ☀️. We were prepared for all the possibilities and that led to the success of all 3 weddings. ]⁣⁣

Who would have thought nearly 13 years after our high school graduation that I'd get to send an old friend down the aisle. 🥰 Reconnecting with Kassie was so special and it was a pleasure getting to know her now-husband Erik. It was also wonderful (and wild!) to see so many of my childhood friends/classmates and their parents come together to celebrate these two .

Their wedding had so many fun personal touches - everything from Kassie's floral wedding dress 💐 to Erik's dinner selection 🍕to their 'Price Is Right' style grand entrance 🎟️ fit them perfectly. Congratulations again to the newlyweds - being part of your wedding was an honor I will never forget. 🥂

Congratulations Jessica & Jorge!!! Yesterday was so wonderful.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ The day started off with an early rehearsal and I let the couple get ready while I went and prepped for the day offsite. (AKA: folding napkins poolside 💁‍♂️) ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ A few hours later I was back at @chapeldulcinea to prep for the ceremony.
