Boyd EOC was activated to a Level 1 Monitoring at 8am this morning due to the incoming weather. At 12N, we escalated to a Level 2 Limited Activation with EMA staff in EOC. At 8pm, we have returned to Level 1 Monitoring for the overnight period.

I want to thank all the public safety partners, street and road crews, utilities that worked out in bad conditions and our Boyd 911 staff for keeping up with it all.
Crews are working to repair and restore power but it will take time to get to all areas affected.

If you are out this evening or overnight, be alert for debris in roadways and road closure signage. Please do not go around barricades or move them from roadway. Many of the remaining down trees have power lines involved and will remain till Ky Power can remedy safe to remove trees.

🌧️ **Weather Update for Repair Affair** 🌧️

Due to the current weather conditions and forecasts for the weekend, we have made the decision to reschedule Repair Affair to **Saturday, October 5th**.

We want to ensure the safety of our volunteers and homeowners, and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

All volunteer group leaders have been notified, and we are making every effort to reach out to homeowners as well.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you on October 5th!
