Inside the Box Inside the Box offers business and event Catering and Grab & Go gourmet sandwiches, sides and salads.

Owned and operated by Metropolitan Ministries as a social enterprise. All proceeds fund our hunger relief programs. Inside the Box Cafe & Catering offers customers the choice of a casual bistro cafe or catered lunch experience. Customers enjoy delicious fare with proceeds going to feed hungry Tampa Bay neighbors through services delivered by Metropolitan Ministries.

Metropolitan Ministries Social Enterprise

Inside the Box is a social enterprise of Metropolitan Ministries—a catering business with a twist. Aside from serving delicious food, we provide culinary arts education and hands-on vocational training to men and women transitioning out of homelessness. Our graduates are employed at our catering division, and at some of Tampa’s finest restaurants.

Good Food

In addition to serving contemporary Americana and inventive original dishes to take home, we offer in-house roasted, cured, and smoked meats and seafood, cheeses, and specialty sandwiches and salads—all with locally sourced and produced ingredients. Our grocery market offers a unique line of locally grown produce, breads, dressings, spreads, and specialty foods.
