👋 Hey!

It's been a while so I'm going to do a fresh introduction.

I am Makaya Parris & I am the owner of GiveGrace. Picnics And Event Decorating by Makaya.

I began this in spring of 2022 with a vision of bringing people together and UNITY! I believe we aren't created to be alone rather to enjoy the sweet moments God gives us with each other.

I'm married to my amazing husband, Nathaniel. He's my backbone to this and he is always by my side helping with different events.

We have two dogs, Camper and Pearl.

We love Jesus and strive to build our lives on Him.

We enjoy Tennessee football, traveling, Disney, hiking, and spending time at home.

I've been quite on this page for a little bit for a few reasons.

1. It's been out of season and yucky weather.
2. We're getting married and we've been focusing on that.
3. I changed jobs back in October.

So, there's a few reasons!

BUT.......

We are BACK and ready to go!

We're soon to be a husband and wife team.

Nathaniel has helped me since day 1 with this business!

We've had fun and have gotten to serve lots of people doing this!

Our focus is unity and bringing people together to celebrate!

We believe that God created us for many reasons but we also believe that we are to enjoy life and have great fellowship with others!

We had a WONDERFUL picnic season last year!

We are down in Corinth, Mississippi tonight!

My dear friend, Mrs. Angela hosted a beautiful picnic for her friends.

Harmony Counseling at Redemption Ranch is a new counseling service in which they will be incorporating different modalities of therapy. It includes therapy through different ways such as equine assisted therapy, gardening, being outside in nature, play therapy, sand tray therapy, etc. (All Christian based.) Don and Melissa Robertson are opening it next month, and Mrs. Angela be working there part time after school hours and some Saturdays.

They just put up a pavilion overlooking the horse pasture. Mrs. Angela was thinking how nice it would be to set up there. They have been working so hard on getting this ready (renovating a barn, getting horses to the barn and trained, etc). Mrs. Angela have them a posh picnic in order to give them an opportunity to stop, relax, and reflect on all their hard work and the journey that God is leading them on to help make a difference in people’s lives. This picnic is honor of them and it is it to be a “thank you for following God’s direction and stepping out on faith.” It has really been so much work, time, and money to do this. But they know this is all God’s plan!
