We hate to announce but we’ve had to postpone our interview tonight with Walkefield Tot. As power crews continue to work long hours to restore power in our community, they also need food to fuel. Walkfield Tot and her team was asked last minute to provide meals for Duke Power crew workers today in our area, which caused a scheduling conflict. No worries though, we completely understand! Be sure to stay on the look out for the new date that we’ll have her in-studio with us. We’ll be announcing it soon!

Power has been restored at Haywood Mall, which will reopen on Monday, September 30th at 10AM, offering a welcoming space for the community to gather, dine and recover.

They’ve partnered with Duke Energy to utilize their parking lots as a housing and staging area for the dedicated employees working to restore power to the rest of the region.
