I was truly honored to emcee the 4th annual Women Empowering Women’s Summit Thursday for the Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce. Assisting with events in any way possible is where my passion shines brightest - whether behind the scenes planning your event, coordinating your event, officiating your wedding, or now as your voice of the event. Tips to remember when planning an event.
1. When planning the date of the event, keep in mind the time of year you’re having it and other events that may detour guest from attending.
2. Don’t let your guest get bored. Google and search fun activities to keep guest entertained.
3. Be careful with finger foods.
While easy and convenient, make sure to have plenty of serving spoons and tongs to make it easy for guest to use instead of their fingers.
4. Don’t wait to long to send out invitations. Especially if there’s a lot of parties such as GRADUATION!
5. Don’t leave your card box unattended. We all want to trust our guest, but put it in a well viewed area.
