✨Ranunculus ✨ This beautiful flower is one of our favorites! The Ranunculus is known for beauty, charm, elegance, and delicate multi-layered petals! Ranunculus has many color hues, provides a unique texture, and adds finesse to any arrangement! A few fun facts about Ranunculus: 1.) Most commonly known as Buttercup. Ranunculus is from the Ranunculaceae family. 2.) Originated from Central Asia. 3.) Ranunculus comes from the Latin words rana (frog) and unculus (little). The name may refer to the flower’s natural habitat near streams and other moist areas where frogs might live. 4.) Ranunculus was first introduced to Europe during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1558–1603) along with the tulip and anemone. 5.) 600 varieties.
