With the final round of counties moving to the highly anticipated 💚 phase, we hope that everyone continues to stay S A F E and healthy.

Weddings - although they may look different with our new normal - are already starting to make a comeback and we’re SO excited to start seeing some normalcy in life!
A lot of venues are making changes in the way that they function in order to keep everyone as safe as they can, while also maintaining the fun and exciting atmosphere of the wedding.

Being that everyone comes from such different walks of life, we stumbled across an idea that we felt was an easy way to make wedding guests feel more at ease in a crowd and allow others to have a subtle visual so that they can do their best to respect others around them. (See below⬇️⬇️)


We hope that while everyone is celebrating turning the page in this unprecedented chapter in history, may we all remember to be kind and compassionate to one another❤️

The kickoff to wedding season has been looking a little bit different these days. We want to relay any advice (and encouragement) that we can come up with for couples that may be struggling with wherever they are at in their wedding process during these unprecedented times.

For all couples, although this seems to be a very strange time to be wedding planning, we are here to (virtually-as of now) help you along.
There are and will continue to be couples who have their wedding dates affected by current events. This means vendor and venue availability will become less and less. If you have vendors and venues in mind that you love, book them while you still can.
🤍If you are a couple who’s wedding day is one that was affected by covid-19, we are here and would love to assist you in any way that we can!

Today, March 1st, marks the kick off of our 2020 wedding season and we couldn't be more excited! I (that's me, Erin, on the left) wanted to take a minute to introduce you to two of our amazing Bluestone team members.
Meet Amy (in the center). She is a mom, a trauma nurse, and one of my very best friends (friends since 4th grade!). In her spare time, she likes to train and run ultra marathons, and explore local vineyards where she lives. She enjoys working with us at the venue and selflessly makes the trek from Virginia to help us out. We love having a trauma nurse on our team!
Meet Dawn, the sassy red head on the right. Also a wonderful friend, Dawn was born and raised in the area and is a paramedic. She has been in emergency services for 25 years and we always know we are in good hands when she is working at the venue. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
As you can see, we have outstanding members on our team and could not do what we do without them! They jump in and do whatever needs done to make sure our brides and grooms have the best wedding day ever! ❤ Stay tuned, as I continue to introduce you to more of our team over the next few months. 😊

Details, details! 🌿
Booking venues and vendors are all huge accomplishments and key parts to planning weddings and events. Once all of that is done, it’s the details that make the wheels turn smooth. For a bride to coordinate their vendors, ceremony, guests, wedding party AND the reception timeline while still trying to get herself beautified for the day is enough to make anyone understand the urge to elope!
An event planner is the one to pick up the loose ends and tie them together so that everyone involved can relax and enjoy the day they’ve set in motion. Ask us what we can do for you on your special day!

Preach🙌🏼
Budgets for weddings are always difficult. Constantly searching for a way to save here and there. Not long ago, I was a bride in the same boat. In my mind, a way to cut some of the budget was to plan and coordinate my own wedding. How hard could it be? Everyone knows how a wedding goes, right? Groom at the altar, bride down the aisle, everyone dances- happily ever after! It wasn’t until the wedding got closer that I realized just how many small details there were that I would be too busy to ensure it was all happening according to plan and most importantly on time. Although the planning and prep part I enjoyed, there was physically no way for me to help the day unfold without extra eyes and hands. (“Ok, we’re ready for family pictures! Oh no, we lost Grandma Annie again- will someone PLEASE go find her??”) Stacy was my day of coordinator and after the day unfolded, I saw how truly important having one was. Experiencing the process together was what gave us such passion to take stress away from brides & grooms as well as their families. Let us do the same for you!
