I can finally share what I’ve been working on for the past few months! Lemonade Photography partnered with to create these beautiful environmental portraits of healthcare providers for their Healthy Kitsap campaign. It’s so exciting to see the photos on billboards and posters all over the county.

You put a lot of thought into how you’ll walk down the aisle at the beginning of your ceremony. But what happens on the way back up at the end?

This can be a prime moment for great photos - everyone is joyful and ready to celebrate. If your venue allows it, think about throwing flower petals or biodegradable confetti to catch the light and fill your photos with color and movement. And don’t forget to stop at the end of the aisle for one more kiss!

One of the questions I hear most when I'm helping couples plan their engagement session is "What should we wear?"

My answer is usually something like this: Avoid super bright colors, don't try to match each other too closely and choose clothes you're comfortable and can move well in.

Brianna and Kara broke 2/3 of those rules for their engagement session at Point Defiance Park last month - and they absolutely NAILED IT. These stunning, almost-matching vivid pink tops pop beautifully against the park's muted greens and draw your eye right to their happy faces. I can't wait to see how they bring color into their wedding in August.

It was so great to get back to weddings yesterday after a long winter break - and what a wedding to start the season with! Ash brought the DRAMA with this gorgeous, red-velvet-lined custom outfit made by their maid of honor (Lizzy at EJIS Designs, who also happens to be one of my favorite former clients). Don't Ash and Erik's rich hues pop against those moody gray skies? They danced the night away as the rain poured outside at Edlynn Farm in Graham.
