🤍At the start of 2025, I want to share a special new chapter with you: Full-Time Realtor & Mom of Two🤍
I started Events by Jenika in 2018 after working in the events industry in both Austin & Houston for 10 years. I had the privilege of working for amazing people like Tribeza Magazine, Brock & Co Events, Laguna Gloria-Art Museum of Austin, Events by Amy, Event Solutions & Chateau Cocomar & gained such a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the industry. It was enough to give me the confidence to start my own business & thrive back in my own community in the Rio Grande Valley.
In 2020, both the country and the events industry in whole experienced significant loss and huge changes and I had to learn to not only pivot but also to have a backup plan for myself. I got my Texas Real Estate license (something I’d always been interested in) shortly after that year and started to take on both Wedding & Real Estate clients. It’s crazy how much overlap there is between the two industries and how my love for working closely with clients on such a big milestone event in their lives naturally evolved into also helping clients find their dream homes as well. Life also completely changed and my heart grew just about 10x larger when I became a mom and gave birth to my daughter in 2022.
After much thought (& with a baby boy now on the way this spring), I decided that while events would always be my passion, life had shifted again and my time and attention were needed on my own growing family.
Events by Jenika was more than just a business for me; it was a beautiful story built alongside you, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart. While this chapter comes to an end, I am continuing my journey in Real Estate (Jenika DelAngel, Realtor-Legacy Realty Group RGV) while juggling being a mom of two 🤍🤍
My heart is forever filled with gratitude as none of this would have been possible without you-each one of you who trusted me, every recommendation and every word of encouragement.
