To finish off a very busy week, we climbed a mountain to feed the Mansfield University, Lycoming College, Lock Haven University, and Penn College of Technology Army ROTC programs today! The Cadets earned the Hand Hewn award for “Hardest Hit Buffet Line” after their weekend of missions and training. 🙂 Thank you all for having us and, most importantly, for your service! 🇺🇸

SOLD OUT and all smiles at the Elkland Softball Association complex today! Our community came together in a big way to support a wonderful family and we are so thankful to have been a part of it.

We’ll be serving up Pulled Pork Sandwiches, our Loaded Potato Salad, and Macaroni and Cheese TOMORROW at the Elkland Softball Association complex! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Kohut family, aaaaaaaaaaand there will be a raffle for a Hand Hewn BBQ gift certificate good for a brisket dinner for you and nineteen of your closest friends! Complete with sides, sauces, and all of the pickled good stuff! We’re so happy to be a part of this special day and we will see you there!

Our smoked pork belly is currently being featured by our friends at Building No 9 Grille in Troy! This is a killer sandwich and it won’t be there for long!

Didn’t get enough BBQ in Osceola today?? No worries! Saturday, 10/2, we’ll be serving up pulled pork at the Elkland Softball Association complex for a benefit for the lovely little Miss Alice Kohut and her family. 100% of the proceeds go to the Kohut family! We’re excited to be a part of this special day and hope to see you all there!

Our Hand Hewn family is an NTSD family, so we were THRILLED to have the opportunity to cook for the Williamson High School staff today! Thank you so much for having us!! Good luck with the rest of your meetings today! The BBQ coma struggle is real!

Two notes:

1. To the other NTSD Principals: We’re not saying that there IS a “Feed your staff” contest, but if there WERE, Mr. Kaufman would be winning it!

2. To the Williamson Staff: We have a Senior, Sophomore, and 7th grader who can double as BBQ couriers if anyone needs a pick-me-up…. OR a giant turkey drumstick!
