Here is the GPS coordinate to the track at Kermit. It might be about 100 yards or so off from the destination. Look for the bridge on the right side to cross. Set your GPS early because there is no cell phone service there. Gates open at 1. There will not be anyone live streaming so don't click on any scam links. Tick ets can only be bought at the derby track.

I've been getting a lot of messages about fix it plates for the Kermit Fall Derby this Saturday. We're only allowing six 4"x4"- 1/4" thick fix it plates. We're 5 days away until derby day, you have plenty of time to cut extra plates off. Half ass cuts will not pass.
MWFA Class is not allowed to have fix it plates. You can run a header if you want. I'm allowing you to swap bumpers if needed but only with 1990 and newer bumpers. You can weld them on this time and use one 6"x6"-1/4" thick plate on each side to mount the bumper for a flat mounting surface on front the frame only. Absolutely no bumper shocks.
We will be doing a thorough inspection as always. Hope to see everyone there! This will probably be out last show of the year.
We're little over 2 weeks to go until the Kermit Fall Derby October 21st! There will be a waff le car for the MWFA GUT n go class. It's $10 a tick et. This is to run the car only, you do not keep the car so you don't have to worry about trying to haul it back home. Helmet, safety glasses and entry fee will be provided. Winner will be randomly chosen in a bucket draw from a fan in the crowd. The derby starts at 7pm!

Next demolition derby will be at Kermit October 21st. More details will come later once we decide classes, payouts, etc..
Unfortunately there will not be a fall show for Lincoln County. The fairboard decided not to have one because of too many other events in the area on the the same weekend available for the fairgrounds.
Thank you everyone for coming out to the derby at Kermit yesterday. You guys are awesome and put on one hell of a show! Another drama free derby which is rare but you guys made it happen! I'm looking forward for our next show. We're planning on having another derby at Kermit & Lincoln again in October but we're still working on dates, details and approvals. Soon as we come up with something I will let everyone know.
Again, thank you drivers and spectators for coming out! I also want to thank my officials for helping me. I can't do it without you all Josh Walters, Eric Adkins , Kyle Bryant , and Tanner Slone. Thank you Jenny Hatfield for coming out and helping me, I love you 😘 and thanks Mom Lou Eads for watching the kids for her. Derby drivers, Make sure you park facing the creek and try to stay close together as possible. As you can see, we don't have much room and must utilize what we have. Don't take up the next spot beside you with your derby car or canopy. Please leave your car behind your trailer.
There is another parking lot available for spectators, it's not pictured though. It's a freshly dozed lot after the pic was taken.

Today is derby day at Hillbilly Days Demolition Derby and the track looks great! Gates open at 1:30 ONLY for drivers bringing cars, it opens for everyone else at 4:00 pm. Tech is 4pm-7pm. The scammers are taking over Facebook so do not fall for any fake pages, groups or events. WE ARE NOT going to livestream the derby. There isn't enough service to live stream. So don't click on any links for it! You will get scammed! We also DO NOT have an actual Facebook "group" for this derby. Only the event page hosted by Lincoln County Fairs and Festivals.
UPDATE: Gates open at 1:30 for drivers only. For everyone else the gate opens at 4:00.
Friday at Hillbilly Days Demolition Derby, the gates open at 1:30 for drivers only. Gate opens for everyone else at 4:00 and tech starts at 4:00 also. Tech will end 7:00 sharp. If you're not registered and in tech line, you will not be teched. If you failed tech and need to cut or make changes, you better have it done before tech ends. Anything caught added inside the frame is an automatic load back onto your trailer. Anymore than 4 fix it plates, you will cut off completely. NO fix it plates on Gut n Go
