Oh hey, it’s me, Hayley Baldwin. Owner and creator of Knot In Style Solutions.

I’m often asked why I started this business and the answer is simple. I’ve always loved helping people. And I’ve always also loved weddings..... I just never felt qualified to help anyone plan their wedding until I knew I could perfectly plan my own. The only thing I’d do differently is hire a day of coordinator ... like, no joke lol. But, everything turned out exactly how I had dreamed in the end.t

A couple of summers ago I actually had an internship as a wedding planners assistant ... but the world championships for softball happened and I couldn’t complete it🤷🏽‍♀️ story of my life with softball ruling my world for 15+ straight years.
But with my own wedding now over and under my belt, I’ve never felt more confident to help others on their journey of planning, too.

My attention to detail and specifics, my love for creativity and design mixed with romance and a good time ..... I can assure you any event or wedding I coordinate will be freaking amazing.

I am only a couple month into having my own business and I have already booked multiple clients.

It’s a dream come true - so thank you.

But, this is only the beginning. Only the start. And I can’t wait to plan me some more A M A Z I N G weddings ✨

⌓ you may not be wearing the perfect outfit the day of your proposal, and it is okay lol

Here are some things you should be looking for when you hire your wedding planner:
◽️a free consultation - this is huge to me because I want to chat with you and see if we are a good fit, and see if I feel confident in bringing your vision to life.
▫️the wedding planners personality - let’s just say it’s super important to find someone’s who’s personality clicks with yours.
▫️ the planners experience/ ability to understand your vision - make sure you are confident in the work you’ve seen, the reviews you’ve read and whose goals align with your vision.
▫️ what services are included - figure out what exactly it is that you need help with and find someone that can help you with those exact needs.
▫️ average response time - since communication is key, find a planner who is quick to respond to you and easily accessible. I give out my personal cell number to all my clients in can of anything that comes up that needs to be dealt with quickly.
▫️ simple honesty - your bridesmaids can be your yes people, but your planner shouldn’t. It’s important to me to keep it real and straight when it comes to everything from your creative ideas to your budget.

ORGANIZATION IS KEY!

Here’s a sneak peak into what I send my clients to keep them stress free and organized.

𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝟏𝟎 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘴

1. GET ORGANIZED
The best way to keep the planning fun and less stressful is to be organized. This is why I give my clients templates to have one convenient place to record everything.

2. TAKE NOTE
Keep a pad of paper in your purse for jotting down great ideas and inspiration you see on the go. Or use the Notes section in your phone!

3. GET CREATIVE
Make your day unique and memorable by thinking outside of the box. This is YOUR day, personalize it. Trends are seasonal, and often come and go. Try not to get too caught up in the “now”.

4. STICK TO A BUDGET
Set a realistic budget and prioritize where you want your money spent. A wedding planner will be HUGE in this category specifically.

5. BE RESOURCEFUL
Think of friends or family who can help you in different ways. Have a friend good at graphic design? Have her create your invites!

6. FOREVER FRIENDS
Choose a wedding party who you see playing a part in you and your fiancés future together.

7. ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
So much love, effort and money goes into creating the perfect event. Carry a pack of thank you notes so you can quickly thank those who have made this time so special.

8. RELAX AND ENJOY
Your big day is over in the blink of an EYE. Stop to look around, soak it all in and cherish every moment of your very special day.

9. DON’T STRESS
Try not to sweat the small stuff. Remember what’s important; the celebration of love between you and your fiancé.

10. HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER
At minimum hire a day of coordinator. Someone to make your day run smoothly and perfectly. This will allow to you truly be present and soak in every single second.

Check out this totally dreamy Catholic Church we got married in!

Here’s my advice if you’re looking to get married in a church.... BOOK AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

To my surprise, I had a WAY harder time finding a Catholic Church that wasn’t fully booked than I did even finding a venue. Who would have thought 🤷🏽‍♀️ .
Anyway, my advice to all brides looking to have their ceremony in a church... if you know the general area/ location of your reception venue, start looking for the church too.

I had started my search 9 months before our wedding, totally thinking I had enough time and was ahead of the game. Holy smokes was I wrong.

I had eventually expanded by search to an hour radius of our reception venue. Totally wasn’t ideal but it was important to us that we exchanged vows at the church.

This hidden gem, , wasn’t even coming up in my searches for local churches (I think because this was actually a Chapel). The ONLY reason I found this place was actually through a recommendation to check it out
Little did we know that this church was only 8 minutes from our reception venue, and more dreamy than I ever could have imagined ♡

Thank you Lord for blessing us with this incredible Chapel.
