Many of you know that my side gig is a school crossing guard. One of our guards retired after 18 years of service. So I made this for her. Painted the vase to look like a traffic cone and added her name. The blooms are in her favorite colors.

Tragedy struck last Friday when a little girl was hit and killed while in the crosswalk at the entrance to her school. She loved to read, so with the help of the Deltona library, we selected a book fitting for the girl and made a memorial piece for her parents. Rest easy, sweet girl.
