Success! Michael Dill presented "The Fruits of Your Labor" at the 2025 Black History Month Exhibit Saturday in Sebring, Florida. Over 30 attendees at the exhibit interacted with Mr. Dill before, during, and after the event. Thanks, Mike!

Dr. Marie Daniels provided the exhibit an original 1967 E.O. Douglas Yearbook. Come by and check it out, but you will have to wear gloves to handle the pages. An historical record of the last graduating class of E.O. Douglas prior Integration.

A DYNAMIC EXPERIENCE! Make the trip, embrace the knowledge.

Many of you know of the Sebring, Highlands County, Florida, E.O. Douglas School "Tigers," but did you know Polk County too, had its own "Negro" School with the same mascot? Yep, "Union Academy" in Bartow, Florida. I Just wrapped up a couple of hours touring Polk County's first African American History Museum with its president and Union Academy graduate, Charles Luster.
