Taking a theme and making it fit into a space using elements of what is already there, when done right, will make the space feel warm and elegant.

Here we :

1) added in wood and green tones to a space that had a lot of concrete and metal. The black linen helped make the tables disappear but the fabric softened everything even in a deep tone.

2) Created statement areas with decor and food in an otherwise very large space to make people feel cozier.

3) Brought in one bright color (yellow) that symbolizes freshness.
