It’s been incredibly difficult to narrow down my favorite images from 2024 so I’ve been splitting them into categories to showcase different parts of wedding day. If you haven’t seen the candids post it’s the one before this one. ⁠

Honestly this year we shot more moments than ever before making any portraiture a small percentage of wedding day. The truth is whether we had 10 minutes of an hour to make images, we were able to make something we thought was original and cool. ⁠

What part of wedding day should we do next? I’m thinking dance floor!

I promise I’ll stop talking about how awful this year was for our family soon. Despite the rough year, we had some incredible moments together and have grown closer than ever.⁠

We traveled, served awesome couples, Alex grew a ton and went from baby to kid so fast! We went to the beach so much which always brings me joy, hung with friends, I watched 70+ movies. We have so much to be thankful for. ⁠

It’s almost Christmas!

Presents are wrapped, we’ve seen so many lights, and I’ve eaten way too many cookies! I’ve got 5 Christmas Eve services to play guitar for then watch Die Hard with Sara. After that though, it’s time for presents!

Was chatting with a friend last night about how 2024 was for us. Ironically being at the tail end of it, I came up with this:

This past year personally didn’t go where I wish I had, (professionally was fine!) and I’m ready to move on to 2025.

How it feels being the last Saturday before Christmas!

Presents are wrapped, traditions are planned and ready to go, and thankfully no traveling! We’re ready!

Today we’re hosting our first cookie swap this year and have about 10 families with kiddos coming over! I’ve baked about 200 cookies and am ready to see what everyone else brings. Should be a great time!
