I couldn’t have had a better day with these two, their pups, and guests. They were so laid back and embraced the gorgeous day all the way up until crushing it on the dance floor with their amazing guests. Big hugs and their generosity meant to much to me at the end of the night. ⁠

I used to never value getting ready photos. It wasn’t until the pandemic when it truly dawned on me how rare it is to have a small (DC life 😂) room with people from different parts of your story there with you. That depth of relationship brings so many dynamics and getting to be there for everything from seeing the details to hearing that initial pop of compliments and cheers as everyone gets dressed. Documenting people as they realize a moment is becoming real, is super cool. These moments only happen once, getting those photos is important.

Too fast, too furious! (Had to come up with a funny line for two awesome weddings in a row)

Wouldn't have planned it any better to work back to back weddings with two awesome couples. For Saturday, Sara & Grant's gracious personalities and big smiles filled the day. We strategically missed the rain and enjoyed gorgeous light in the evening, as well as a raging dance floor with their friends and families.

The first, with the wonderful Amy & Jack had all the elements of a perfect day: weather, joy, humor, time, and willingness to chase moments we'll never get back. Thank goodness for photos, right?

You can't beat a wedding with an absolutely STACKED vendor team, a thoughtful and joyful couple (and supportive wedding parties!), and great light inside and out.

With Sarah & Richard, I knew this wedding would be one special to me since meeting them, and I took that with me going into wedding day so I could serve them well. True luxury is freedom, and they gave us the freedom of time during the day to create and were open to all ideas. Their wedding party brought us water and coffee, and helped us throughout the day.

🏎️ Lamborghini dreams, Lamborghini dreams

Except with these two the Lambo was a reality! Getting to know these two this past year was an absolute pleasure and I knew going into wedding day how special it’d be.

Seeing the joy in Nikolas and Claudia’s families throughout the day was all one could hope for. There was never a lull or a moment where people forgot that love was something worth celebrating.

Their wedding parties were fun to hang with and so helpful too!

Headed into the weekend feeling grateful.

Despite the marketing side of this business looking easy and like it’s happiness 100% of the time, it hasn’t been recently. Thankfully, a couple of great couples in May and we’re firing on all cylinders!

This wedding with Hannah and Becky was such a sweet one at a new (to us) DMV wedding venue. It felt more like a family reunion and it was perfect. Can’t wait to share more soon!

A perfect day with these two.

We spent most of the morning nervous about the rain at Evan & Kelsey's wedding. There are a few gorgeous indoor spaces at the Fairmount in Georgetown but there's nothing like wandering in the courtyard or on the sidewalks for candids.

These two played it cool and focused on the love in each moment throughout the day. Something I like about E & K is everywhere they were on wedding day, they were present. They weren't worried about the next thing or looking to rush, they were there. It made for a wonderful day.

Their wedding party also were very welcoming and fun to be around the whole day! A win win!

And it barely ended up raining!
