Newest Commission Complete! These blue kitty ears were created for

I wanted to incorporate rhinestones into these ears and realized that it may be a little hard to spot depending on the angle and the placement, because unlike some other ear makers I don't shave the inside nearly as short as some. This just means the stones sort of peekaboo depending on the angle ✨

I also finally stepped up after believing I couldn't do it and airbrushed the ears! My machine is very beginner friendly but not great quality and I am still learning my craft. The machine also began to die right when I finished 🫠

I had a blast with the piercings and, because of my other crafts I decided to incorporate some of my new charms and a custom made pair of hanging faux-aquamarine bead earrings.

I have one more commission to complete before October!

Newest custom ears crafted for

This was a fun new challenge in using dedicated fur colors INSTEAD of attempting any airbrushing as my machine is NOT up to s***f right now.
I made lots of custom patterning to make sure they were symmetrical and I think it paid off pretty well!

Izutsumi from Delicious in Dungeon / Dungeon Meshi 😻

These ears are slightly more pointed than my normal cat ears and I actually love the shape a lot! This is the first time I had to think about adding whiskers to try and mimic the character's white lines against a black backdrop so that was pretty fun!

This is also my FIRST FULL SET, so I finally got to use a tail pattern by 💖

Also my first poseable, so there is a braided aluminum wire at the top for a simple folded base through the first 1/4, and then a single wire through the rest. I used batting instead of loose polyfil to make it cleaner. Top length was machine sewn and the underside is completely hand stitched.

First asymmetrical ear tip, too! Lots of fun firsts. 😁

This is my first ever group commission!

I made custom blanks for these and used a flat 2D style to capture the hearts in the middle of each ear. I was rushing the day I took these photos sadly but I think you get the idea? 😅

🎙️HEL-🚪🎙️-LO🚪!

Just finished these custom Alastor ears for my friend last night! Could I have set up a cool creative and professional backdrop? Yes! Did I want to? NO! XD

We tried to color match to their wig and it looks perfect in some lighting and vastly different on other lighting so we just went with what we thought was best. They're also pretty much un-trimmed and styled with a bit of hair spray here and there.

If you're nervous about ordering online because you can't verify the colors you're committing to, I totally get it! I always recommend checking out swatches if you're not sure if you and the seller you're going to are on the same page with your color scheme. Please check out Big Z Fabric if you want to check a color ahead of ordering! Swatches are currently $1.50 and are generously sized! If Cute Custom Ears doesn't already have that color, it'll be ordered to fulfill your request!
