We're Black Coat Catering and that means you can expect us to look our best in our black chef coats, its been a part of what we do since day 1....BUT once in a while we get the chance to do a catering so unique and so exciting and SOOOOO much fun that we have to wear something OTHER than black coats.... today was one of those AMAZING parties!!!

With a 50's theme going, we had burgers and hotdogs and old school fries and home made onion rings and made to order milk shakes... we knew we had to dress as the old soda jerks

Last night was a 5 course meal done as a Private Chef dinner... of course in getting busy pictures of the main course and dessert were forgotten 🤦 but the meal was delicious!!!

It may have been cold and rainy outside but the hostess of today's party (bridal shower) found a perfect quaint little barn to have it ... what a great party- now let the dish washing begin!

once in a while (for friends) we trade in black coats for black jerseys... and while we dont have our names on them yet, id say the football party was a HUGE success!

update on earlier, especially since i didn't get many pictures of the food... 1 hour and a whole lot of dishes hand washed and dried...

this is a reminder, not just for Black Coat Catering, but for any small businesses who do what they have to do to make their business run... dont forget those big giants wouldnt know if you took your business elsewhere, but small businesses everywhere try, and are truly committed to their customers

were not chickens when it comes to hard work or commitment

i didnt get pictures of the main dishes today... i was working this party just a little extra since it was for my mom who turned 70!!... it was WONDERFUL afternoon of friends and family... real dishes, silverware and napkins... truly a full service lunch of roasted chicken, apple cider pork, parsley-ed potatoes and corn on the cob. There was 3 AMAZING desserts from our baker (my sister)- a yellow cake with chocolate ganache frosting, chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache frosting, and peanut butter brownies with peanut butter frosting... more pictures as i see if anyone got any!

a special labor day thank you to all the unsung heroes of small businesses everywhere. (no, not unions)... those unsung heroes are FAMILY and FRIENDS who jump in and help when labor is hard to find. FAMILY and FRIENDS who have come to our aid over the years, and without question help with whatever they can- without ALL OF YOU we couldnt be where we are now! THANK YOU!

many restaurants use this (or a similar product) for omelettes... caterers often use it for a variety of end results...

now we have been up and starting on getting a party going for today, but we did not use this for our breakfast ... stay tuned to see what we did use it for!
