In its 3rd year, the 2020 Glen Ullin Community Hall of Fame had more nominations than ever to vote on. Over 70 names and groups have now been been nominated for the Hall of Fame. All names and groups that have been nominated will remain on the ballot for upcoming years votes, we thank all of you that have taken the time to submit a nomination!
The committee met again this past week and the 2020 Glen Ullin Community Hall of Fame Class has been chosen! Below are brief snapshots at each of the 2020 Class Members. Upcoming issues of the Glen Ullin Times will showcase each of the new members.
COMMUNITY
Duwayne Kinnischtzke:
City Auditor, Lions Club, Park Board secretary, Airport Authority, GU Fire Department, GU Fire District, GU Ambulance Crew Member and first aid trainer, Crossroads Golf Board, Rattler Booster Club..... among other city and community groups he was an important part of starting or serving on.
Joe Muller:
Joe was an active member of American Legion, Lions Club, KC Club and most notably spent years providing the Americanism program yearly to students at Glen Ullin Public Schools.
GROUPS and ORGANIZATIONS:
Glen Ullin American Legion:
years of dedicated service to the community, including over 30 years of maintaining summer youth recreation programs.
GUPPIES:
Formed to promote the community, have since worked with multiple groups on community service projects, and other events to help improve and promote Glen Ullin.
INDIVIDUAL:
Chris Gerving: 2 Time all state Basketball player, state track finalist
Corey Wilhelm: 2 Time all state Basketball, multiple time all region football
Kevin Gerving: All State Basketball, Runner Up for Mr Basketball award, 2 Time All Region Junior College Basketball

2019: George Opp, Alisha Thomas, Doug Gerving, Mike Gerving, Wh**ey Boschee, 1967-72 Rattler Girls Track, 1986 & 87 Rattler Basketball Team, Glen Ullin Fire Department
The 3rd Annual Hall of Fame Reunion Weekend will take place June 26-27 at Crossroads Golf Course and include:
