Beautiful Barn Inspired Wedding.

I had the privilege to document their proposal a year ago, and I recently photographed their pre-wedding. Here're some photographs from the session in front of one of the St. Louis landmarks; The Art Museum. I got to know the couple personally through a friend of mine who I grew up with back in Thailand.

Pre-Wedding VS. Engagement Session

Pre-Wedding is quite popular in the Thai community, and it's slightly different from engagement sessions. Although it's been used interchangeably throughout the industry. Here's my take on it: engagements usually focus on the ring, those candid moments, and all the reactions, making it all about the experience. On the flip side, a pre-wedding shoot is all about creating beautifully crafted art. It usually goes down 6 months to a week before the wedding day, typically with formal outfits. It's also a great chance to test out some poses, try out ideas, and just get comfy in front of the camera.

Honestly, call it what you want—it's all good. Let's raise a glass to the soon-to-be bride and groom.

My wife and I took a short trip to Saint Louis, explored some historical spots. Even though we don't live too far, life can get in the way of cool things around us. I don't want to regret not exploring nearby places when we have the chance. Took my poor-man Leica, played tourist, and snapped some random photos.

One of my favorite weddings this year, set against the stunning backdrop of the modern cityscape overlooking the historic New Masonic Temple in STL. 💒

The story of how we met is equally special. I received an inquiry from the bride, and upon seeing her name, I instantly felt a connection. She is Thai, and the excitement of meeting someone with the same background never fades.

They certainly know how to party! While I may not be a dancer myself, I thoroughly enjoy watching people light up the dance floor. These couples were surrounded by an incredible group of friends and family who celebrated with them from start to finish. I want more of this!!!
