As the year comes to a close, we want to wish everyone happy holidays ✨ and THANK YOU for making this such a big year at Bumbu Roux!
We bought a truck, were lucky enough to have the mind-blowing @heartandbonesigns hand paint it, and then we went EVERYWHERE, from farmers markets to Comic-Con. We celebrated Juneteenth in Washington Park and fed folks at a plant giveaway in the far southwest suburbs.
We gathered a stellar team together for a return to @pitchforkfest in its full glory.
We popped up at a Beverly art fair, were regulars at @sketchbookbrew, kept it spooky @musicboxchicago @musicboxhorrors, and enjoyed a spectacular kick-off season @saltshedchicago!
We catered for shuffle boarders @royalpalmschicago (and may have joined a league 😅), and brought back our rijsttafel dinners (gorgeously capture by @siegefoodphoto).
And more! Thank you to everyone who showed up and dined with us this year. We look forward to seeing you in 2023 as we go into our 15TH YEAR of sharing the food we love as an independent business. 💚
