Next on my agenda: creating some darling, very-long-lasting indoor pumpkin decor!

How long will they last, you ask? These pumpkins have no damage to them when the dried flowers are adhered to the top, so they can last anywhere from 4 months to 12 months!! I kept two that I made last year in September to check on their longevity and I finally composted them in May and June of this year 🤩

The chill in the air means the flowers won’t be here for much longer 🥲

But the sunny days in the forecast mean we still have a couple weeks left to enjoy these fresh beauties! 🙌🏼🥰

Usually, the dahlias are happy through September here in Olympia, Washington. But when the temps hit the low 40’s/high 30’s at night, the flowers slow down significantly.

When we reach frost temps, the flowers die 🥀
Around here, that’s typically mid to late October 🎃
