Bluey (not just a cartoon but a real way of life in our house) will be a flower girl this weekend in her Uncle Rad’s wedding. My whole family has been looking forward to this and I cannot wait to share this wedding with my kids.

Keeping “on theme” 🤭, Winter is such a beautiful theme & color palette. It doesn’t hurt that Phoenix has a relatively warm season, making it easy to host weddings in January and February. Cool tones like silver, frost, and ice, are so beautiful and translate into fun textures as well.

Surrounded by weddings, it’s amazing to think nine years ago, I was on the other side of planning. One of the best days of my life! 🥂I only have two regrets:
1. I didn’t have a day of coordinator 😢 I was a planner, and didn’t think I needed one. Instead, I spent most of my day worried about how things were coming together instead of enjoying the little moments.
2. I didn’t hire a videographer. We had an exceptionally funny garter toss. It was a whole planned skit, with an audio recording by my amazingly talented husband. I wish I could rewatch that moment.
Your day goes so fast. Let the professionals take care of you. Twenty years down the road you can look back and know you had the best start to an amazing life together. 💖

That’s a wrap! My last wedding of the season was another beautiful night of love and celebration! 🥰 I didn’t book weddings this December for the opportunity to spend more time on my current couples, my future couples, and most importantly my family through the holidays! I’m in love with moments where the couple gets a quiet moment together enjoy their night. I’m obsessed with this last dance yesterday: while we lined everyone up for sparkler exit, the couple got the last dance together. It’s a perfect end to a perfect night 🥰 Congrats Ariel & Brent! 🥂

I love myself a “how did you meet” story. There’s no two the same. Every journey is different, each couple unique. I started mine 10 years ago. Literally between jobs, at the end of my subscription on a dating site, and looking for someone who would fit all the cliches. I met my husband 10 years ago today and and it has been the best 10 of my life. He has helped me build a home, a family, a business. If you find yourself a person who makes you feel like I do with my Jeff, don’t let them go. 🥂
