Pastry Team Member – If you have a passion for baking, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Help prep and execute our breakfast and dessert offerings, manage pastry inventory, and have autonomy in our pastry department. Must be detail-oriented, a strong multitasker, and ready to start the day early (4-5 AM shifts).

Banquet Captain – We need a leader to oversee our full-service events! The Banquet Captain will recruit, train, and schedule banquet staff while ensuring seamless ex*****on of events like plated dinners, buffets, and our on-site specialty services (pancake, Belgian waffle, and grill-out events). If you have strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, we’d love to have you on board!

Upon his graduation from Iowa State University, Adam had no expectations of becoming an entrepreneur. However, due to the resources, support, and innovative culture at Iowa State, he leaned into his delicious baking experience and started his full-time business, Schonert's Corporate Catering.

We first saw Adam each week at 1 Million Cups and various Alliance events when his pies, scones, and cookies started magically appearing. Adam’s determination to grow, along with his understanding of how to benefit from connections and join local organizations, has elevated his trademark cookies and his own brand throughout the AREA. This year, he moved his company into a larger space and expanded their full-service corporate catering company to include breakfast, lunch, desserts, hors d’oeuvres, feasting trays, tailgate catering, and more.
