Requirements include being over 18 years old, reliability, flexibility, patience, and access to a reliable transportation vehicle. Unfortunately, a felony-free record is also required for TDCJ approval. We need representatives across Texas.

Do you think that you have to live in Texas to be married to someone who is incarcerated in Texas? The answer is no, you don’t have to have residency in TX to get married. Now you will have to come travel to TX to get your marriage license. Denise and I are knowledgeable on answering all your questions when it comes to getting married to your LO within TDCJ!

**Public Service Announcement **

I am not going to call out names or unit, but if you are a client of LoveinTDCJ. In your service agreement you MUST provide a picture of your marriage license before the wedding ceremony date!!! If the officiant shows up to the unit and you don’t have your marriage license on your person then the wedding will be canceled and pushed back until you can provide the picture!!

Today my partner Denise went to the unit and performed the wedding ceremony and then was told that the bride did not have the marriage license, never got the affidavit to get the marriage license from the county.

Now this bride is NOT legally married and she will have to go get the marriage license and redo the wedding ceremony! She will have to repay the service charge! This is nonnegotiable either!

Denise was prepared and ready for the wedding, she was on point. The bride was not on point, she was not ready.

If you are going through the process of getting married with LoveinTDCJ, you MUST provide your marriage license before your wedding ceremony date, period!
