I had never seen a long haired Netherland dwarf until yesterday, and I had to have him! Welcome Bayouland’s DC! We will be calling him Caine!

I still have to put the door on, but I’m proud of myself and my son. This is our first build together, there was a lot of cursing on my end but we did it. 4 more to go to house the bunnies.

Three of our girls were rode in the Oberlin Mardi Gras '24! Many compliments were given to the temperament of our girls. These girls don't just do parades, they also do birthdays! If you're interested in renting one of our girls for your event send us a message!
We are also renting for trail ride experiences at some of the local CENLA public trails.

Please keep this in mind! Even a horse that is well conditioned can overheat with these extreme temperatures and drought.

Got feed for the girls today. I’d say we are stocked up for a minute.

Another beautiful sunset bathing horses here on the farm, and now everyone has caught a bath. There was a lot of work put in today on the farm, and we are super proud of the progress we are making. Our hitching post and two thinking posts were put in the ground and are now ready for use. Our tack and food storage building has been re-leveled and is just awaiting a wall to make it complete.

These are the final two gals that need to be introduced.

Blue (being sprayed) is Kevin’s personal horse. She’s a Tennessee walker that we picked up from a man out of Arkansas. She came with a few vices that we are working with her on, but she’s been Kevin’s favorite from day one.

Sassy is one of the new ones we happened to grab with Trixie. They both came from a pasture out in Marksville, and hasn’t been touched in a while. She’s very in your pocket, and loves anyone that gives her feed. She’s a sound mare on the ground and in the saddle.

We were whistlebit for time this evening, and were only able to get three of the girls bathed today. I’m hoping to get better lighting tomorrow for photos, but here’s three of the mares that belong to Prudhomme Hill. Gypsy (with Noah), Ruby, and Trixie (with Stacy)!

Gypsy is our son’s horse who came to us from a dear friend and great farrier! She’s sweet, a bit sassy, and our boy’s favorite.

Ruby is Stacy’s horse all the way from Missouri! She’s laid back, and a real in your pocket kind of gal! She’s Stacy’s best friend and her go to pick of the group for teaching kids about her love for horses!

Trixie is new to the group, and she’s learning that just maybe we aren’t so awful to hang around! We are looking forward to seeing great things unfold as we work with her.
