This is an example of speed painting. What is speed painting? Simply put, it's a skill born of lots of practice and muscle memory. A talented speed painter can paint a design like this in 2-3minutes! Designs are selected based on maximum "wow!" with the fewest amount of brush changes and sponge changes. Typical speed painting is limited to a smaller design menu so participants can quickly make choices and keep the line moving.

When is speed painting appropriate? I recommend speed painting when you have a party of over 25 guests, a corporate event, free-to-the-public events, or school fairs. Think high volume! You want the maximum number of guests to participate, so quick designs work the best.

How is speed painting different from your "regular" party package? My usual full face designs take me an average of 5-6 minutes. This gives me time to put in ALL the details that make your design *pop.* It also means I have enough time to take almost any custom request, so I can look up that random Pokemon your child loves, or add some extra flowers to your crown, or make your kitty ALSO a unicorn, etc. It's my favorite kind of painting because I'm taking the time to really make a connection to every person who sits in my chair. 🥰
