You get what you pay for is a saying that has been around since the beginning of time and it’s never been truer than today in social media management and online marketing. There will always be a solo “marketer” that can undercut our costs but they rarely have access to the same resources. Yes you can pay anyone $1,000/month to constantly post, and blind squirrels eventually find nuts. For the last few years I've been known as the "long-haired video kid" to many in my community. As our organization has grown I've had to grow into a CEO role to ensure our goal of creating jobs in the arts can continue. As part of my growth I've had to look for ways to maximize the use of my time and I've found that I spend too much time on my hair.

Don't get me wrong, I love my hair. It's literally become part of my identity and as hard as it is to admit, I have wrestled with the idea of cutting it. That all changed for me when I heard about Wigs For Kids and the smiles they bring kids battling cancer. I figured if I'm cutting my hair it might as well go to someone who could use it more.

We've partnered with Spruce Barbershop and will be live-streaming the donation on Monday, November 7th at 10:30 AM and will be broadcasting here on this page along with Youtube. There will be links below to donate to Wigs For Kids | Caring About Neighbors Inc Charity Livestream

We will also be using this as an opportunity to help raise funds for CAN Inc to further our cause to help reduce crime and eliminate poverty.

When this video was posted two days ago this creator had less than 200 Subscribers, at the time of this post she's currently sitting at 36,300. There's no better example of the democratization of media than this! In two day's she's created a real platform for monetization and clearly has the business plan to not solely rely on platform policies that can change at a moment's notice.

We are so excited to be bringing this kind of approach to SETX!!! Saying goodbye to Grandmother. She’s been dying to meet Jesus since I met her and those were her last words to Mary before she passed. She lived the gospel and it is evident in the generations of kindness she’s inspired. Granny will always be with us and even though Miles couldn’t be expected “to smile on the day of his great-grandmother’s funeral” we are comforted in our knowledge she’s finally made it to Jesus.

Looking through the window god just opened as he closes the door on our time at . I have literally worked myself sick getting off the ground and just as things start coming together we would be asked to terminate our lease 9 months into a 12 month lease. I’m grateful for the relationships that started here and even though the new administration deemed us unworthy of an opportunity to continue to grow, it only helps add to our resolve. I’m looking forward to the next chapter but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed that the only official communication we ever received from the new administration was the letter notifying us they were terminating our lease. My PM reminded me yesterday about a guy who was telling him how his faith didn’t allow him to worry so I’ll heed his advice and keep my faith in the lord and continue to be grateful for the blessings we have.

This isn’t inflation, it’s corporate greed!!!

Oil companies had over 56 billion in profits in 2021 with billions in government handouts through subsidies. What we’re looking at are the decades of lobbying and buying politicians like Greg Abbott, and Ted Cruz, paying dividends to shareholders of the oil companies.

The whole of the civilized world agrees that we need to work towards renewable energy except for the politicians bought and paid for throughout “the greatest democracy” in history.

I’ve seen countless posts claiming the current administration is to blame for current events but clearly they are only parroting the talking points of their Dear Leader Tucker Carlson.

Get out of your echo chamber and come step into the real world and you’ll realize that you’ve been voting against your own interests for years unless you’re the 1% that has Washington and state houses all around this country in their pocket.

Fundraiser still going, we've got the candy covered thanks to H-E-B and a lot of volunteers thanks to Albert “AJ” Turner. Now we need to see if we can get the lights covered.

This will be a walk-up event and there are some dark parts along the roads near Pearlstien Park. We would like to rent construction lights to illuminate the dark spots near the park.

Our organization is putting on a trunk or treat at Pearlstien Park in Beaumont's West End. The goal of our organization is to empower the citizens of the community to make their voices heard.
