Visiting Jackson Hole was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Not only was I able to see and capture the Solar Eclipse, but also dive into some of the best biking, hiking, and other outdoor activities there are. I'll definitely be coming back.
The last frame in this short video is the moon passing over the sun during the solar eclipse, which to my surprise happened relatively quick.

Rising Waters.
I started noticing the water levels of Lake Michigan rise back in 2014, but it wasn't until last night I truly realized how quickly the lakeshore is eroding. My families cottage sits only about 50 feet from a soon to be sheer cliff. Crossing our fingers the levels tapper off and the cycle changes before it's too late.

Many years ago planks of wood were placed throughout the shoreline of Lake Michigan to help the beaches avoid erosion. Rising waters and crashing waves have pulled back the sand, revealing these ancient looking barriers.
