DJ Optimus here, been a LONG time since I've posted, but as of late I've been considering getting back into KJ/DJ'ing, I've purchased some new/additional equipment and looking for venues local to the Springfield and surrounding areas to pick up a night (or two) at, comment, DM or call/text me 417-509-0223. Tonight we will not be having karaoke open to the public, there is a private party booked at Coopers Pub that I'll be hosting karaoke for so they will not be open to the public past 6:30pm tonight. But please come back out next weekend, Friday and Saturday nights (9:00pm-1:00am) for your regularly scheduled karaoke!! ..and of course I'll be at Just One More as normal, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights throughout the week! Come sing and play!!

Last night was fun so let's do it again and have yet another fantastic night singing karaoke at Coopers Pub!! I'll be there hosting karaoke from 9:00pm-1:00am!! Jasmine will be behind the bar serving up your drinks and other various concoctions !! Come sing and have a great night with us!!! Mics are disinfected and hand sanitizer is on a stand beside the mic stand, as always, if you feel ill by all means stay in and get better, otherwise if you feel great, get on out to Coopers Pub in Springfield for a PARTY!! Hear ye, hear ye!! Yet some more great news to share with my fellow karaoke followers!! I am excited to be back at Coopers Pub this weekend hosting karaoke Friday and Saturday night from 9:00pm-1:00am! We're excited to see everyone and sing a few songs! We care about your health and we're taking sanitary measures to wipe the mics down at the start of the night and between each singer, there will also be a bottle of hand sanitizer by the mics for you as well, and if you feel ill by all means, stay in and get well!! We've missed you all, A LOT, and want to see as many smiling faces as they'll allow us to have in there!!

Coopers Pub is located at 1326 W Sunshine St, Springfield, MO 65807, in the old Sunshine Saloon, next to C.A.R.E. Animal Shelter.

So as I said in my post last night some exciting news was coming and well, here it is....YESSSS, that's right!!!! TONIGHT I'll be back at Just One More in Republic hosting a special Breaking out of Quarantine Karaoke Night TONIGHT as we open back up! We're excited to see everyone and sing a few songs! I'll be on stage from 9:00pm-1:00am dialing up those tunes for your listening and singing pleasure!! We care about your health and we're taking sanitary measures to wipe the mics down at the start of the night and between each singer, there will also be a bottle of hand sanitizer on stage for you as well, and if you feel ill by all means, stay in and get well!! Amy and Sabrina will be your bartenders tonight serving up those drinks you've been missing!!! We've missed you all, A LOT, and want to see as many smiling faces as they'll allow us to have in there!!! It's going to be a breaking out of Quarantine karaoke night tonight, so get excited!! And then we're planning on getting back to our Mon, Weds and Thurs nights of regular karaoke at Just One More!!

To all my followers/clients/patrons, just wanted to chime in on the COVID-19/coronavirus situation. As many of you are aware as of this last Wednesday evening the local bars/pubs have been shut down effectively halting DJ Optimus Karaoke for the time being. While these times are tough we are all in this together and we will prevail! Hopefully being able to re-open around the beginning of April. DJ Optimus will be back at both Just One More and Coopers Pub on the original scheduled nights (Mon, Weds and Thurs at Just One More, Fri and Sat at Coopers Pub) just as soon as we are all able to re-open to the public! I value and appreciate all my clients/customers/patrons and hope we can all stay healthy and safe through these difficult times. Until then, we will be back!! God bless all!

Got the Monday blues?! This whole virus pandemic got you down?! Get out to Just One More in Republic tonight and let's sing away those Monday blues! I'll be on stage from 9:00pm-1:00am hosting karaoke for you! Amy will be behind the bar slinging those drinks! Come have some fun, sure there's a virus that's scaring everyone, but don't let it keep you from having fun!! As I've said before just be sure and make sure you take care of your hygiene (like you should always anyway) and keep washing those hands, if you feel under the weather, by all means stay in and rest! I will say that I ALWAYS spray/wipe each mic down at the start of every show each night! During this whole pandemic I'm also taking ADDITIONAL steps to wipe each microphone down between each and EVERY singer that handles the microphones, for precautionary measures! Let's have a fantastic night at Just One More!!

That's right, it's Saturday night and I'll be hosting karaoke tonight from 9:00pm-1:00am! Get out and have some fun, sure there's a virus that's scaring everyone, but don't let it keep you from having fun!!
