A ornamentally turned goblet of laminated cherry with turned flying buttresses and hollow spiraled finial made from rock maple. The cup sports a captive ring and holds 16 oz.
This cup remained in my possession, courtesy of Sir Frederick, who allowed me to enter it into the Oklahoma State Fair, where it won a blue ribbon. If anyone knows how to contact Sir Frederick, I would happily return it to him.

A goblet of pecan, turned and ornamented until it warped so much that it was no longer centered. I named it "Old Age is the Prize for Survival".
The left photo shows how far this cup warped, causing it to lean a bit to the right.

After winning the Arts & Sciences competition at Eldern Hills, our home suffered an earthquake, which caused the picnic basket that contained the pass-down prize of feast gear to land on it's lid, breaking the custom made ceramic cup and bowl within. After conferring with Their Excellencies, telling them that I was not yet set up for ceramics, they approved my replacing the broken pieces with ones made of laminated rock maple.
Because I lacked lumber long enough to make the cup, I glued the upper and lower blanks together with a rod of purpleheart, giving this cup it's unique appearance. Once the multicolored square blanks were set, I turned and ornamented them. The red hill on the lid is dyed maple, with a carved bison atop it (the Coat of Arms of Eldern Hills). If memory serves, the cup holds 16 oz.

This is the large, leather bag that I designed and built to carry the apparatus for my magic shows. It is tooled, then painted with my interpretation of the dragons found on the Nine Dragon Scroll, originally painted on more than 20' of silk, by Chen Rong in 13th century China. The bag measures 1' in diameter by 3' long.

When asked to design and build a table for some friends, I created this end table from solid mahogany. All was stained walnut, with the exception of the center, floating panels. All of the carving was based upon 13th century Chinese design, taken from multiple period media.

The frame is solid walnut, the lighter, carved wood is sugar maple. Each of the pillars have a carved, caged ball in the shape of a "monkey's fist" knot. Also notice the copper tubing inlay, containing malachite. The overall design is based upon what my 13th century persona would have made, based upon his trip to China with Marco Polo.
