Our journey continues after almost 8 years since we captured our first wedding. It’s incredible to reflect on the hundreds of weddings we’ve been able to capture since then. We are beyond thankful to everyone who has supported us since day 1, day 100, day 1000 and all those who support us now. Whether you’ve booked us for a wedding, told your friends and family about us, or liked and commented on our content… We appreciate you and we’d love to hear from you! How long have you been following our journey?

Every year we take some time to reflect on how can we continue to serve and elevate the experience of each and every one of our couples. We’re always making changes to show up in a way thats special and unique. For example this photo was taken with who were absolutely incredible to be around and such a privilege to capture. We learned about how their story began and what they look forward to experiencing among so much more before their wedding day was even here. This is the care we aim to have all of our couples experience!

We have a special project that’s been in the works for quite a while that will continue to elevate this experience and we can’t wait to share it! Be on the lookout for some exciting new things coming soon!

Love and flowers bloomed at this GORGEOUS spring wedding! 💐The way this beautiful season was infused into their look and feel was so refreshing. We found ourselves mentioning over and over again how stunning every detail looked! They had such an amazing bridal party that also brought so much love and energy throughout the day and it was a blast to be around 🙌🏼

Yesterday we got to photograph this beautiful couple at this stunning venue and being able to capture images like this is so refreshing and gets us so stoked for all the weddings we have coming up during this busy season and year! The countdown is on! 🎉
In just 24 days we’ll be capturing Geno & Jessica’s beautiful wedding and we absolutely can’t wait 🙌🏼 We recently spent an afternoon in various locations capturing their incredible love that’s been 7+ years in the making! We ended the Engagement + Story session at these beautiful cliffs as they celebrated how far they’ve come and how their wedding day is almost here! We’re super stoked for them and we can’t wait to share more!

Who else is trying to end the year on a strong note?! We’ve been quiet on here for the past few weeks mainly because we’ve been working hard to complete some AMAZING projects after capturing more weddings than we initially planned on. It’s been incredible and we are beyond thankful 🙏🏼 We have so many beautiful films and photos to share that we can’t wait to wrap up! Meanwhile we continue editing we just had to share these photos from our most recent engagement session that have instantly become favorites to us 🙌🏼 Ryan and Jillian were so fun capture and be around with. What a weekend this was! 😆 We drove a total of 10 hours to the north of California to capture the wedding of these two amazing humans! This venue was stunning! ✨ Switzer Farm is located right off the Mendocino Coast and it is very secluded. Eric and Linda decided to take an untraditional approach as they got ready for their wedding together. From the beginning Linda and Eric helped each other and we loved every second of it! It was truly special to capture two best friends preparing for their big day. We would regret not mentioning their loyal Ophelia almost stealing the show with her sweet little dress. The team has grown yet again! We want to thank the many new faces and long time friends that have supported us from the very start. So for those that don’t know, this is us: The Yugen Films Photo and Video team! It’s crazy to think how Yugen Films was created about 6 years ago when Steve and I (Abraham), brothers who stumbled into this wedding world with very little experience about what it meant to capture a wedding, absolutely fell in love with the endless artistic expression of it all. There are so many beautiful styles and ways to capture a wedding and throughout our growth over the years it’s been amazing to find our style and what speaks to us. Along our journey Steve met Jocelyne and Abraham met Melissa. They also fell in love with capturing these once in a lifetime moments and it’s part of the reason they fell in love with us in the first place. We are beyond thankful to all the couples who have booked us for this year and next year! Stoked to continue sharing all the special moments our couples have allowed us to creatively capture through the lens of our cameras! Since we haven’t done a post about us in a while we thought we’d share a few fun facts about us. Let us know if you can relate!

These past days have been pretty cold, rainy and kind of gloomy. 🌧️Despite this, somehow on this day, the rain stopped for these two. Being out in open fields and embracing the weather, we were able to take these stunning engagement photos! 😍 The looks on their faces and the laughs made this session so fun! This goes to show that it’s all about the couple. No matter the weather, you can always take amazing photos. We can’t wait for their wedding day! 🙌🏼

What a weekend this was! 🙌🏼So much happened starting off with these two. Alondra and Ruben were a vibe! 😎We started this day in Coronado with a beautiful view of the city. They rented this Classic Porsche and their outfits were on point! 🔥We headed over to a beach in San Diego afterwards so stay tuned for those😆 Can’t wait to share more moments!

Just received the BEST voice text from Daisy and Joe about how happy they were with their wedding photos!!! 😆There is no greater feeling. They even said they cried✨Ever since we connected, with them, there was undeniable chemistry. We shared laughs on their wedding day and it was filled with love and fun moments. Plus, this venue is one of our favorites! 😍 Can’t wait to see what the Malkhi’s do in their future endeavors! 🙌🏼

This weekend was just a blast!🎉Especially because we got the opportunity to capture Brenden and Amber’s wedding.
