Today at EWI, we had an incident involving an intoxicated customer. While I cannot control others' actions, I want to publicly apologize to everyone who was there. Someone placed an order, but when asked for payment, he became irate and began to yell he had no money and needed his food free. Despite my employees' efforts to handle the situation, the customer's behavior escalated. I had to intervene to attempt to calm things down. My employees and myself was cursed at, threatened, and he even attempted to come across my register to hit my best friend and attempted to come into my kitchen…. His behavior was completely unacceptable, and as a result, he will not be allowed back at EWI. I deeply apologize to our customers and staff who had to endure this situation…

Hey, it's a bummer, but we won't be open today. The AC installation is still pending, and the heat inside is just too much to handle. Can't risk anyone's safety in this heat. Hey guys! Quick update, we will remain CLOSED today to install a new AC unit. The inside temperature hit 88° without even turning on the fryers or stove.( and that’s with a unit inside already 🥵) Thanks for your patience as we get the place comfortable for our customers as well as our staff. 💜
