Don’t miss “You Can’t Have Your Cake and Eat It Too”, a two-part performance by , presented by KREËMART ®], and , taking place during Miami Art Week 2022.

The unique performances feature one-to-one replicas of an ottoman and a daybed from the famed Barcelona collection by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe — made entirely of cake! The works - cakes by of the Netflix show “Is It Cake?” - will be on display in a gallery setting before they are cut into and shared with participants.

The first iteration of the performance will be held tomorrow for the VIP Preview day of Art Basel Miami Beach at Luciana Brito Galeria’s Booth D24. The ottoman will be on display from 11:00 am onwards, with a cake-cutting at 6:00 pm.

The second iteration of the performance will be held on Wednesday Nov. 30th, at PAMM in celebration of the opening of the Erlich’s retrospective “Liminal.” The performance will begin at 11:00 am with a cake-cutting at 2:30 pm.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME👻PLAGUE DOCTOR MASK!
my Halloween cake 2020.
This pandemic 2020 has been a nightmare for so many people,  this cake was totally inspired about the new normal that we are living now.  how interesting to know that A plague doctor was a physician who treated victims of the bubonic plague. In times of epidemics, these physicians were specifically hired by towns where the plague had taken hold. Since the city was paying them a salary, they treated everyone, wealthy or poor. Since the city was paying them a salary, they treated everyone, wealthy or poor.
The clothing worn by plague doctors was intended to protect them from airborne diseases. The costume, used in France and Italy in the 17th century, consisted of an ankle length overcoat and a bird-like beak mask, often filled with sweet or strong smelling substances (commonly lavender), along with gloves, boots, a wide-brimmed hat, and an outer over-clothing garment.
This is quite sometime after the Middle Ages when the Black Death came and passed, but does fit the timeline of another plague: One that swept through both Naples and Rome.

Since I have dedicated myself to specialize more in wedding cakes, I realize the importance of balance in flowers, colors and size in this arrangement. I used:

Known as the queen of the vine.!

RED ROSES
This color represents romance, love, beauty and perfection. It is sometimes said that dark red roses represent humility or unconscious beauty.
CARNATION a doble-flowered represent pure love and good luck!
DAVID AUSTIN a beautiful and elegant flower represent innocence, purity and youthfulness.
