Our team specializes in tented private estate weddings but we love a well executed venue wedding weekend., micro weddings or private dinners party.
June is our month on the road! Our biggest events of 2024 are rapidly coming up in July so we are spending the next three weeks completing final venue visits for our summer clients and continuing to on board for 2025. We have so much in store for the feed!

I had an overwhelming feeling this past winter that I have never looked so much more like my mother than I do right now. These photos by will be shown to generations. âLook, thatâs your grandmother and momâ đ đ©· to be cherished forever.
One of my favorite design details moving through the summer (drum roll please)⊠branded cocktail trays! These were used for SO many tasks throughout the night. From ceremony programs to signature drinks and late night sunglasses, the trays were a useful way to continue to showcase the branding of the event through service.

Red taper candles really pushed my design boundaries but turned out to be a key element in connecting this floral cloud to the tablescape. We used two shades of burnt red and burgundy tapers to allow the color in the cloud to speak louder amid the darkness of greens.
Colored taper candles never used to be a design staple for us but are increasingly becoming more regularly used in our design plans. Chartreuse, eggplant and taupe taper candles tend to be our favorites!
Purchasing taper candles in your own? Make sure to take a look at the length! Those 10 inch candles wonât make it all night. Purchase the 12-14 inch when available!

I get asked, âhow do you come up with the signage?â Most days itâs takes a sunny car ride with a good song on for the concept to come to me but this one was pretty quick. M & T purchased a beautiful home halfway through planning and we quickly pivoted the logistical plan to their property. It was only fitting that their guests felt a part of their new home and life together as a married couple. âHome is wherever we are with you!!â

My bridesmaid dresses are blue so everything needs to be blue, right? Urm, no. Hereâs how we do it. Your bridesmaid dresses can be a supportive element to your wedding palette, they donât need to take over the palette. Here are a few ways we can lace your bridesmaid dress color without overwhelming the design.
1. Bar accessories! Stir sticks, napkins, or signature drink signs. In this specific case we used colorful lamps on the bar top.
2. Cocktail/Accessory table linen! Use a colorful linen for cocktail hour, cake table, or napkin.
3. Stationary! Use your place cards, weekend itinerary cards, invitation suite, or menu to show off a little color!

Sitting on the living room couch this morning, sipping my coffee and remembering every detail of this day so intimately. This 25 guest micro wedding last February will go down as one of our all time favorites. There is something about a small table that fosters so much connection.

Welcoming guests to the wedding reception with a glass of champagne and a box of macaroons âšđŸ this piece helped transition guests into a new space and ease the initial bar lines. We were able to use this piece a second time later in the evening to house the couples candy bar!

When should I schedule my champagne tower in the timeline? Here are our favorite times for a champagne toast!
The key is transitional moments that need lots of energy!
1. The kickoff of cocktail hour, the couple takes a few minutes alone after the ceremony and when they come out to enjoy cocktails they execute the tower!
2. No introductions? No problem, champagne toast right before speeches take place so that the individuals toasting can take champagne glasses off of the tower.
3. End of family dances or 2nd dress change. When you come back out to get the party started kick things off with the tower!!!

Our favorite standout design details from this private residence celebration last June!
1. Mix of square and round tables with separate tablescape plans. This allowed us to use our main color in the palette, blue, without overwhelming the pastel flowers.
2. Cocktail tables in front of the bar with hanging chandeliers. We are loving this cafe look moving into 2024!
3. We used the couples personalized crest to enhance the bar front! Two of these bars helped bring the branding of the event full circle.
4. âHome is wherever we are with youâ seating chart by and . The title was so fitting for the couple who hosted their wedding at their newly purchased home!

About this time last year we were preparing for M & Bâs intimate affair in Portland, ME! Give us a solo bridal moment, would ya! Iâm not saying we need a full on editorial shoot during your wedding day but a couple personality shots in your second dress would be adored and appreciated by all. 1. Branded napkins. They donât always have to have a dog on them or your logo. A pattern or phrase can be even better! The small details are what make for a fluid design plan.
2. Signature drink sign or branded phrase. Donât forget a beautiful frame!

Bonus: a quick souvenir or little take away. Match boxes are perfect for this! Guests love to grab a keep sake when grabbing their bevy.

A Scandinavian Christmas celebrated here in the White Mountains. During the holiday season I feel a deep connection to my Danish roots. Our family tries to incorporate as many Dane traditions as possible, one of them being Aquavit. Before any major family event we all take a shot of Aquavit. Last year we were running low on the authentic bottles my great grandmother brought over when she came to America. Lucky for us makes an incredible bottle that we can source here in the Mountains! Keeping the tradition alive. Looking forward to my shots of Aquavit this week.

The surrounding environment is a large factor in ensuring your event design flows in your space. These walls are a VERY specific shade of blue. Throughout the couples design planning we thought of creative ways to help the walls support our design instead of engulfing it. Hanging overhead greens allowed us to take the attention away from the walls and soften the color. This was key in allowing the place settings to not only be seen, but appreciated when guests walked into the room.

Yes, guest transportation is obviously important. Stylistic, on brand and adventurous transportation for the bride and groom is very important!
