There are lots of new faces around here, so a little reintroduction post feels right.
Hi! 👋 I’m Meredith, the owner of Forage (rhymes with storage) Floral based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
🌸 Forage is a studio-style floral design company that specializes in artfully designed flowers. We’re not your run-of-the-mill assembly line of fern and roses, but we do love both roses AND fern. ☺️
🌸 We offer daily flowers for delivery on T/W/TH, a subscription program (which is currently enrolling for October-December!), corporate and restaurant work, and our specialty: events. Small events, large events, in your home or at a venue, we create beautiful flowers that bring joy.
🌸 We have a core value of sustainability. That is a wide umbrella, and it includes sourcing locally whenever we can, eliminating single use plastics whenever we can, and it also means thinking sustainably about the jobs we take. We love to reduce, reuse, and a whole lotta recycle.
🌸 Don’t ever think for a second that this is a one woman show— the folks who work alongside me are beautifully talented and share their gifts in ways that are immeasurable. You’ll see their faces pop up on event days and BTS in the studio. From skilled design work, brute load in strength, sweeping and bucket washing skills, all the way to late-night breakdown, every minute worked is appreciated and equally respected.
