Had a great time twisting balloons, today, at Foster Middle School, in Longview!
I was asked to make balloon hats for a goat, and a heifer, for a couple of ffa students. At first, I didn't understand the request, but they wanted me to twist balloon hats for the goat to actually wear... and the cow, too! I did it, and the crazy animals actually WORE the hats. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of THAT adventure. So I'm sharing a couple from Longview FFA page. But here's a nice picture of a couple of the students sporting their hats!

Had a great day at Crappie-Fest, at Lake Fork, today! I made a balloon fishing pole, for the first time, today, and it was a hit. After I made the first one, I bet I was asked for 50 more!
I love twisting balloons for kids! I'm so blessed to be able to do balloons and magic for people, in an attempt to brighten someone's day!

I had an absolutely amazing time at the Ohio Fellowship of Christian Magicians annual conference! I got to reunite with some old friend, finally meet some guys I've been talking to on FB, hear some terrific lectures, and see some fantastic performances!

I didn't get any pictures, but I had a wonderful time at Sand Flat Baptist Church, last night!
I had the opportunity to present one of the funnest Old Testament stories to the AWANA kids, using my balloon art. Everyone heard the Gospel message, and everyone left with a balloon creation.
I even got to meet a fellow balloon twister (one of the parents), and she came up front to help me make sure EVERY KID got what they wanted.

I am so blessed to have these opportunities!!!

Ok... I'd like opinions from any followers of this page. I'm thinking about doing something special, but would like to know what y'all think about the idea.
So... the idea is :

About twice a year, I'd like to sponsor a "Treasure Hunt", for a chance to win a giveaway of some type. Here's how it would work:

I would make a post, detailing the rules, and giving the first clue (local to Van Zandt County). To be eligible to win, you would have to like my page, tag 3 people in MY original post for that particular hunt, and SHARE my original post, for that hunt.

You would then determine the location that the "clue" referenced. At that location, you would find another clue, leading to another location, where (you guessed it) you would find ANOTHER clue. After several locations have been visited, you will find (at final location) a secret message to PM to me, at The Magic Of Mike Corry. Once the pre-established time has passed, I will take all the names that PMed me the correct message, and randomly draw ONE WINNER for the give-away.

This will allow everyone that participates to get to experience some interesting places in our area, and possibly learn some interesting history about our area. It would be fun for all!

The give-aways WOULD NOT be huge, but won't be a pack of gum or cup of coffee either.

This sounds like a really fun project to me! What do you folks think? Should we do it? Would you participate? Do you think there would be enough participation to be worth doing? I'd love to hear all opinions!

I had an awesome time, today, at Omaha Fall Festival, in Omaha, Texas!
But, after 2 magic shows, walk around magic, and 3 hours of balloon twisting... I'm exhausted!
