Thankful for such a great vendor team this weekend! 💫
Yesterday, there were 2 fires in our community, about 1 mile away from Nestldown. While our team spends extensive time each year preparing for emergency situations, we truly had to put things in motion in anticipation of an evacuation. Our first priority is always the safety of all on site and we were prepared to do all we could to ensure a beautiful day, without causing concern for guests and the newlyweds, while being ready in a moment’s notice to use our emergency protocol.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for for sending 4 shuttles up to Nestldown, while under evacuation warning, to be prepared to transport guests and vendors off site at a moment’s notice. Thank you to the SEM, Coordinator, and our Site Manager for starting emergency protocol and taking the lead. Thank you to our Senior Facilities’ Director for ensuring we all had the most up to date information, listening to scanners, and his expertise. Thank you to the vendors on site who were ready to help if needed and mostly to CAL Fire and Santa Clara County Fire Department for quickly putting out 2 same day fires! We are eternally grateful for the teamwork and unity in an alarming situation!
