About Ashley
Hi I am Ashley, owner and eventor for Tiny and Big Creations. I always have had a knack for planning events but it wasn't until I had my three boys that confirmed for me that this is more than a hobby. I have been planning events most of my early adult life. I grew up in Kansas City, and first started planning events for my close friends and family. My hobby expanded into planning my son’s birthday parties to family baby showers and friend’s bridal showers. Then eventually I became the “unofficial” party planner for all of my family members and friends. Whenever someone had an event, I was called to make something custom or supply a full service set up.
After graduating from high school, I tried to work a 9-5 job but my creativity and love for events took over. I worked for several hotels and apartment complexes in my area and while I realized that working for someone wasn't for me, I became an expert in managing my time, marketing and learning how to execute events. So after my second son was born I made the decision to fully focus on my business. I quit my full time Leasing Community Manager position and researched everything I could to make my business grow. My first client was my brother and soon to be sister-n-law’s wedding. They were on a very tight budget and I was overly pregnant with my third son but it came together beautifully. With the response I received after that, I knew Tiny and Big Creations had to come alive.
When I'm not working, I love cooking/baking, crafting, watching the Netflix, and most of spending time with my boys.
