Sausage, Gravy, and Biscuit Pie
Ingredients:
• 1 lb sausage
• 2 cups milk
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 8 biscuits (pre-made or homemade)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
• Optional: 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
Directions:
1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until it's browned. As it cooks, break up the meat into smaller pieces.
2. Sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage, stir it in, and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
3. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly. Turn up the heat to medium-high, letting the mixture come to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and let it simmer until the gravy thickens, which should take around 5 minutes. Season the gravy with salt, pepper, and sage.
4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
5. Arrange the biscuits in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
6. Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown.

Summer ServSafe class available Monday, June 10 from 8 to 4. This is an Ohio approved class so you would receive the Ohio certificate as well as the ServSafe certificate cost us $175. I have 15 seats left. I like you to have the books 2 to 3 weeks ahead of time to give yourself time to study, but I will thoroughly cover chapter.

I wanted to give you a sneak peek at possible wind chill values for next Tuesday morning. Keep in mind that this could change in either direction but know that there is the possibility for wind chills as low as -25 degrees Tuesday morning if trends continue. For reference, a Wind Chill Advisory is issued when wind chills of -10 to -24 degrees are expected while a Wind Chill Warning is issued when wind chills of -25 degrees or colder are expected. Thus, this would be headline worthy cold should current data hold.
