Favorite Things - Brides Room
I love the idea of making the space your own! Decorate it and celebrate it! But it’s also important to make sure you’ve got a few essentials that get you into the right body and mind for a great start to your day.
✨water - hydration is absolutely key! This is not your normal day. Hydration helps regulate body temperature & keep joints lubricated for a long night of dancing. Being well-hydrated also improves cognition, mood, & keeps your skin looking its best.
✨comfortable shoes/ slippers/ socks - keep your feet happy at the beginning and end of the day. Socks to keep you warm & grounded. Slippers to keep you relaxed. Shoes to keep your feet happy, protected, and have as an alternative to heels.
✨loose fitting robe - dressing in something comfortable before helps your body stay relaxed. It’s also helpful to not disrupt newly completed hair and makeup!
✨favorite snack - keeping yourself fed and happy! Comfort snacks are a great way to ground yourself between meals (at least I think so 😉).
✨pumped up playlist - set the mood for your day with the best tunes to remind you what an incredible human you are marrying. Playlist ideas linked in my bio.
✨schedule of events - it’s easy to get caught up in the day. Having a schedule that is always in view eliminates questions from bridal party, vendors, and even yourself!
✨A fan - a hand fan or electric fan are a must. Emotions and excitement can get you to sweat. Yup, that’s right everyone sweats! A simple fan can help counter that! The hum of an electric fan is also calming.
✨a floor length mirror - ask the venue your in, reach out to friends, even Walmart has inexpensive floor length mirrors available. You’ll want to see yourself from head to toe all at once. It’s an image of yourself you’ll never forget ❤️
