This elegant balloon display was for a Quinceañera. The balloons were next to the outdoor entrance and gave guests a preview of the enchanting celebration awaiting inside. Guests felt like VIPs as they snapped photos upon arrival!

This was at a baby shower for sweet boy mom. It was set up outside on a patio. Whenever you have balloons outdoors, they need to be in the shade. Anytime I do an outdoor set up, I always try to go with Tuftex balloons. The latex is extra thick and stretchy, so it’s very unlikely that any of them would pop! Tuftex colors are always rich and vibrant too! These balloons looked great throughout the whole party!

We can bearly wait! A hotair balloon is extra special to have at a baby shower because you can gift a basket, a baby blanket and a teddy bear to the lucky mommy-to-be!

This client had a sentimental baby blanket that belonged to her son as a baby that she included with the basket!

Mini hot air balloons can also be used as table centerpieces or placed on a welcome table or dessert area.

The one thing I like most about my job is the chance to be creative. It makes my day when a client finds a cool inspiration picture that is something different than the ordinary!

When I was in college, I started cake decorating at a bakery. Whenever a customer walked in with a bunch of magazine pictures, the other decorators would be like, “Oh nooo! Cheryl, you help them.” They had enough work to do and were happier when the customers just ordered something out the book.

I always volunteered to take the cake orders for our most high maintenance customers. My specialty was combining several inspiration pictures to design something custom and unique.

A senior cake decorators once told me that if you can picture it, you can create it. I totally follow her mantra. No matter how complicated an inspiration picture may look…there is always a way to recreate it!

We may not all have celebrity budgets for our parties. But there is always a way to take a really fancy picture and pull out the key elements that you like to make it work within your budget. The skills I used to design wedding and specialty cakes, I use to design balloon decor! The order taking process is almost the same!

If you see several inspiration pictures on Pinterest or Instagram, let me help you put together a balloon design that will work perfectly with your party theme!
