Clinch FC crowned a pair of new champions Saturday at Legends Casino Resort with Michael Cyr (7-1) and Alvin Welch (6-1) each leaving Toppen*sh with some hardware. Cyr (pictured) defeated Steven Chang by second round submission (neck crank, 4:56) to capture the vacant featherweight title, while Welch knocked off Jose Hernandez by split decision (48-47, 48-47, 47-48) to earn the flyweight title. Additional winners included Oscar Montes (a unanimous winner over Levi Nanney, 30-27, 29-28, 29-28), Les Henderson (a unanimous winner over Khalid Montgomery, 29-28, 29-28, 29-28, in a contest that won Fight of the Night), Mykenna Stougard (who defeated Mireya Sanchez by first round TKO (:40) and Mario Texidor (who defeated Quenton Hansen by second round TKO (1:00). The bout between Jason Enarson and Matt Terrell was deemed a no contest.
