Business owner friends!!!

Please let me know if you’d be interested in supporting me as a Winterfest tree 🎄 designer and sponsor this year. I’m starting early and already have tree design underway but I need gift donations. 🎁

In addition to doing a very unique design this year, we have also opted to use our tree to benefit a special non-profit. This means you will have an opportunity to sponsor for the non-profit as well! 💜

Winterfest benefits mental health programs like Kairos, etc all over our valley. If you know anything about me, you know that this organization was once responsible for saving my daughter’s life and I love being able to help support them in this way!

🚨Announcement Incoming🚨

To all my friends, colleagues, clients, and supporters:

It is with much joy, growth and contemplation I share this news with you all...💜

The past 4.5 years with Venus Promotions have been quite a ride — there’s been highs, lows and everything in-between! 🙏🏻 It’s been a pleasure to serve you all and be a part of so many amazing moments both for clients and myself.

I started this journey with a dream, a little money and a lot of elbow grease. ✨ So many beautiful things have blossomed because of it. We can never know what we’re fully capable of until we try! Even when it felt like total failure the lessons were there…dusting myself off and picking myself up every time. 🦋

But sometimes change and growth are inescapable. They must occur for other different and wonderful things to take place. 🛣️

So, in the spirit of transformation, I decided to let go of something that was holding me back. A belief that I had to keep this business the same for 5 years. To prove that if I just did that, I’d spite all the naysayers and I’d be better than I ever was. But the truth is, I’ve needed to shed that idea…it’s been limiting and holding me back. And oftentimes, we are our own worst enemy. ⚔️

With that being said, Venus Promotions is rebranding with revised services (including new offers and more!) and name. You’ll recognize a few things still, but it will be different (and NO the purple isn’t going anywhere anytime soon)! 🎉🎉

Thank you for all the love and support you’ve bestowed on me and my purple-obsessed business!

Admittedly I hate hiring. 🤪

It gives me massive overwhelm. Because I’m a doer. I’ll just start doing it instead. And I have some PTSD with some of my past experiences.

That said, I also know my limitations and how thin I’ve stretched myself. So I have to take the plunge. 😅

About me:

-Runs on caffeine
-Manages a small pirate ship of humans with one needing home care and special accommodations
-Extremely driven and known to take on too many projects 😂
-Gets stuff done AND has the backlog to prove it lol
-Will always be direct, but cares about and values your opinion

💜About you:

-Can manage multiple businesses
-Appreciates humor
-Flexible
-Enjoys an on-the-go environment
-Organized
-Self-motivated

That said, I’m looking at contracting a few people:

1) An admin or someone with assistant type knowledge to manage schedules, sort emails and files, help with follow up communication, manage checklists/proposals, list building, ideally some social media knowledge, and working knowledge of CRM processes helpful but not necessary.

2) Cleaning contractors - looking for someone(s) to subcontract on an as-needed basis for cleaning work could work into supervisory position later/more contracts.

If you know of anyone that fits these roles, please send them my way to discuss potential opportunities, hours, compensation, etc.

Small Business Saturday for a small business owner:

Early morning: making gift cettfiicates to print for multiple gifts/businesses.

Later morning: phone meeting with client 💜

Later morning before noon: finish gift certificates, vacuum house, set up client work for Cyber Monday and schedule clients

Noon: out the house for client organization

Afternoon: squeeze in a personal appointment

Later afternoon: try to support small business Saturday friends

Evening: launder work towels and prep for Sunday cleans 😅

In the spirit of transformation and transparency, we are excited to announce changes to the business taking place… 📢

We are currently looking for new collaborative partners for classes, workshops, photographers and the like at our building in East Medford. Please send us a message or pass along our information for those that you know are looking for this. We can accommodate a variety of requests, so do not hesitate to ask! 🥳

We are also in the process of launching a beta group business Mastermind and are looking for the right founders. 🥂

Founders receive special pricing, event bonuses and much more! 👏🏻 Right now we have specific business types and people in mind, but are open to chatting with people and helping you create your program as well.

Lastly, we have limited space for event producing capabilities but would like to fill the books with two more events before the end of the year! Let us help you take your event beyond your wildest dreams…send us a message to inquire further. 🎉
