Want your business to be the top-listed Event Planning Service?
My first experience LARPing was with a full contact boffer LARP called Origin. Run by a couple, it was a relatively small group, with a lot of really great concepts. I quickly fell in love with the idea that anything was possible. That first night, walking through the forest at night, following a magical floating orb, I knew that I had found my new hobby.
Add a whole bunch of murders, threats and other horrible things - and behold, the Relelhart Family. We were a growing group of LARPers who created just as much plot as staff. We had some amazing times blowing up plot and starting over from the ground up.
From there on out, we would travel around to new events. We tried big Blockbuster events, like New World Magischola and Dragon Thrones. We tried parlor LARPs, digital events, and so much more. We even helped run some.
As we delved deeper into the hobby, we learned a lot about ourselves and about the hobby as a whole. Where to get good garb, where to get props, how to make things ourselves, brave makeup, and even wear a wig. This isn’t all common stuff, and we realized there wasn’t a good resource out there to learn and know about it all.
