SIGN GYPSIES OF THE BLUEGRASS IS CLOSING!

Dear Friends,
In an effort to achieve a better work/life balance, we are announcing today we are retiring our Sign Gypsies of the Bluegrass business, effective August 1, 2024.

Thank you, South Central Kentucky, for allowing us to help you celebrate those BIG life moments! We have celebrated military homecomings, birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, retirements, graduations, job promotions, weddings, proposals, family reunions, business promotions and holiday - just to name a few. It has been one of the great honors of our lives to be a part of those celebrations and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for your patronage and kind words and reviews over the years. The response from you - especially our repeat customers- has been astounding and quite frankly, humbling.

That said, we will not be accepting sign requests after July 31st.

Again, thank you so much for your business over the last few years and we wish you all continued celebrations of love, laughter and happiness in the years ahead!

Happy birthday to Honest Abe on this President’s Day! Our friends in Springfield asked us to set this sign in front of the Lincoln Legacy Museum as Abe spent some of his boyhood growing up here and the Lincoln family spent almost 30 years in this beautiful town. Fun fact…the 1816 Courthouse on Main Street preserves the original marriage certificate of Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks, Abe’s parents.

All of the occasions that we set signs for are special…that’s why we do what we do. But there are certainly those life events and celebrations that stick out, like the sign we set Thursday evening. It was a Welcome Home sign for an incredible woman named Cindy Mullins. Cindy is a nurse in Stanford, KY who is married and has two boys - 7 & 12 - and has been in the national news of late. After having a routine kidney stone surgery, she developed an infection that led to her becoming septic and almost losing her life. As a result of her battle, she has had her legs amputated above the knees and will soon have her hands amputated as well. BUT…through it all, her attitude and gratitude for life has been nothing short of inspirational. She is an amazing woman who still has a long way to go, but with her strong faith in God and her unbreakable resolve, the sky is the limit for this unbelievable young woman! I posted the story below from Good Morning America…you need to read it. Cindy, we are praying for you and your family in the days ahead🙏🏻❤️
