This weekend we attended the Texas Wedding & Bridal Expo β‘
Iβll be honest, I had my doubtsβ¦
Would people like it?
Would they get it?
Would anyone care?
Was the market ready for this kind of thing?
Turns out, βwill you marry me?β wasnβt the only question attendees said βyesβ to, it was the answer to all of my questions, too.
We ended up serving over 400 samples (that people loved so much some even came back for more), ran out of the hundreds of cards and fliers set out, and even had a crowd waiting in line to taste and learn about our little concoctions.
We heard from various couples βwe donβt drinkβ and βwe have family who are soberβ
Several wedding planners that theyβve been seeing an uptick in dry weddings the past few years as they handed us their cards.
Some witchy brides were in love with the crystals and the concept (my kinda gals π«Άπ½)
And at the end of the show, a couple saw me going to pour out what was left and rushed to find cups and bottles to fill so they could keep it then gave me a hug in gratitude π«
Whether all this translates to bookings or not is beside the point, because the chance to introduce people to the plants π±and educate about the growing functional beverage industry is a win to me!
And thank you .today for being the best fellow altar keeper a gal could ask for!!!!
